I spend a lot of time spinning tops on my desk at work with the hand-pull things, because I hate my job. Today I did a little bit of experimenting with a Sidewinder and other stuff I have at my desk (including but not limited to a Slinky, Barrel of Monkeys, Rubik's Cube, Batman figurine, Silly Putty, etc.). The coolest thing was filling the top with water and spinning it... for a second or two it spun very upright and very well-balanced because the water distributed its weight evenly, but once it tilted a little it tipped all the way over and the water sprayed all over me, the papers I was working on, and my cow-orker next to me.
